Legacy Product Users
Please note that these legacy products will no longer be
supported.
Sage will no longer be providing payroll tax table updates for these
products.
In addition new maintenance plans and telephone support will
not be offered beyond December 31, 2006.
For those DOS legacy product users, receive 25%
off the current upgrade pricing. Products on upgrade promotion are; BVII, BVII+2, Turbo, Encore and
BusinessVision 2000 (excluding the
DELTA product).
Promotion only valid until June 30th, 2006.

Support extension announced for BusinessVision 32
An extension to technical support and payroll updates for
BusinessVision 32 versions 5 and 6 has been offered by Sage Software
due to the overwhelming number of clients to upgrade to Sage
BusinessVision version 7.0. From the Sage announcement:
In order to make this transition as smooth as possible for our customers, we have decided
to extend the support of Sage BusinessVision 5 and Sage BusinessVision 6 for six
more months. This means that a January 2007 payroll tax table update will be
available for the Canadian versions of Sage BusinessVision 5 and 6. However,
this will be the last payroll update. There will not be a July 2007 tax table
update, and all telephone support will cease on July 1, 2007.
There will not be updates made available for the other products that were affected:
that is, support and tax table updates will not be available for BVII, BVII+2,
TURBO, ENCORE, and BusinessVision 2000. The July 2006 update in Canada will be
the final release for these products.

the product is now Version 7 compliant.

NEW
Date Format for Cheques For
those of you that are using AP & Payroll cheques in Sage
BusinessVision, Canadian banks require a new
format starting June 30, 2007 (deadline extended as of May,
2006). If
you are using a custom cheque design your cheque will require modifications in Crystal Reports.
If you are using the standard BusinessVision cheque format with no
customization the new date format will be released in the July
2006 payroll update from Sage.
